    Cow Faecal Worm Egg Count Kit.

    The worm egg count test done on your cow dung sample will measure the number of worm eggs in the sample. This then gives us a good indication of how many active egg laying adult worms are in your cow's gut, and let you know if it is necessary to worm your cow's. It is important to worm only when necessary, as using less drugs will slow down the inevitable resistance that develops from overuse of the worming products.

    This service is reliable for detecting the presence of Strongyle (roundworm) eggs and Coccidia. However, it cannot be used to detect Liver Fluke or Lungworm.'

    In cattle older than 18 months the egg count may not be a reliable indicator of a parasite burden.

    These tests are not suitable for Alpacas.
    These tests are not suitable for Lungworm.


    • Prepaid, addressed envelope

    • 10 Blue Gloves

    • 2 Clear Plastic Bags

    • Instruction Card


    • Write YOUR SURNAME, SAMPLE NAME and the DATE on the white strip on the small resealable plastic wallets provided.

    • Place the glove provided on your hand and pick up a golf ball size of fresh (preferably warm) dung.

    • Turn the glove inside out while holding the dung sample so that it effectively lands up inside the inverted glove, tie a knot in the glove.

    • Place the 10 gloves with samples in them inside the plastic wallet and seal (5 samples per wallet).

    • Fill in all the necessary details inside this leaflet.

    • Place the sealed wallets and this leaflet in the prepaid envelope provided.

    • It is important to send the sample BEFORE the LAST POST of the day, to ensure we receive it while still fresh.

    • ONLY POST MONDAY TO THURSDAY to avoid any delays.

    • This card will be returned to you and the results will be reported and discussed over the phone, so please provide the most accessible PHONE NUMBER.

    • Results will also be emailed or posted so please tick your preference.

    Cow's must not have been wormed 14 days prior to testing.

  • Collection Information

    Step 1. Place your order online.
    As part of the order process you will asked from which store you would like to collect your order. Once selected you will then be notified if the product is available in your preferred store at which point you can choose the item and move to the checkout process

    Step 2. We will email you when your order arrives in your chosen store.
    Please collect your order within 3 days of receiving your 'Ready for collection' email

    Step 3. What to bring when collecting your order.
    Please bring a copy of your 'Your order is ready for collection' email (either printed or on a device). Please be aware that you will be expected to pay for your order upon collection so ensure that you have a preferred method of payment available along with suitable ID for any restricted goods which you have chosen to purchase.

    Step 4. Please head to the Click & Collect collection point to pick up your order -
